Purchasing Intern

Position Type: Full-time, Hourly
Location: In Office | Auburn, WA
Wage Scale: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assisting purchasing department with a variety of tasks including not limited to:
  • Creating product and part records in SAP.
  • Updating supplier information including acknowledgements and confirmation records.
  • Updating pricing, including maintaining MSRP pricing folders.
  • Monitoring and creating reports on delayed or missing parts.
  • Receiving and verifying purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Create and distribute daily reports.
  • Assisting with creating documentation.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated with an associate or bachelor’s degree with an emphasis or concentrations in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience utilizing excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and excellent organizational skills.
