BUSINESS ANALYST

POSITION TYPE:      Full-Time, Salary

LOCATION:               Sacramento, CA

WAGE SCALE:          $70K-80K Annual

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a liaison between IT and business units by:
  • Act as technical support/resource for key business processes
  • Serve as point of contact for business units into IT
  • Participate in problem resolutions
  • Maintaining line of communication to monitor and improve IT related issues
• Train all levels of employees on technology applications including but not limited to SAP, Business Warehouse, and Intelex
• Support and collaborate on IT initiatives from corporate partners
• Lead business process modeling and mapping sessions
• Create process documentation/workflows
• Conduct analysis of business projects
• Recommend product enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity
• Ensuring network and related infrastructure operates optimally
• Manage all tickets and provides reporting on status of outstanding tickets, IT expenditures and network performance.
• Assists with assigned projects, including systems testing for IT change management.
• Lead IT hardware and software review, purchasing & processing invoices.
• Basic end user support and training for new users.
• IT request processing and tracking.
• Create and maintain end user documentation.
• Assists with technology initiatives for joint ventures with their own customized IT environment.
• Abide by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent form two-year college or technical school; or at least 2 years work related experience or training.
• Up to date technical knowledge related to IT equipment and systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve/analysis complex problems.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP is highly desired but not required.
• Ability to operate office equipment and to collaborate with a team
• Has valid CA driver’s license.
