PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

POSITION TYPE:      Full-Time, Hourly

LOCATION:               Fremont, CA

WAGE SCALE:          $22.00-$25.00

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises a crew of installers: including hiring, terminating, evaluations and disciplinary action as directed by superintendent.
• Gathering timecards and submitting to payroll each day
• Data Entry
• Fill out incident/accident reports as directed by superintendent
• Creating correspondences for Management
• Ordering sufficient materials for projects
• Tracking material inventory and charges out to projects
• Invoice processing
• Prepare leak reports as needed and gather all follow-up information for final leak report and billing.
• Billing projects on monthly bases
• Creating work orders for leak calls
• Other duties as assigned
• Abides by all safety rules and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent years of experience in the construction field
• Ability to read blue prints, write correspondence and routine reports, speak effectively with various groups of people.
• OSHA 30 certificate desirable
• Experience in the Commercial Construction field strongly desired
• Ability to operate a variety of office equipment and computer programs
