OVERHEAD DOOR SERVICE MANAGER

POSITION TYPE:          Full-Time, Salary

LOCATION:                  Fremont, CA

WAGE SCALE:             $75,000 - $90,000

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Determine the branch’s goals, objectives and future growth with upper management.
• Ensures that operations maintain a positive impact on customers.
• Hiring, training, terminating, evaluations and disciplinary action for employees.
• Generating leads on a variety of current and future construction projects.
• Proactively meeting with new and potential customers.
• Leading and participating in a variety of sales events always at a high level of customer service.
• Preparing bids and submitting proposals for projects.
• Securing project bids and reviewing contracts.
• Oversees jobs through completion.
• Visits job sites and reviews work in progress in terms of productivity and safety standards.
• Reviews WIP and plans future projects, ensuring that materials are available.
• Conducts safety meetings on a regular basis, and reviews equipment for maintaining safety standards.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have commercial sales, service, and repairs experience (garage door preferably but not required) and a successful construction sales record. 
• Minimum of 3 years of overhead door experience.
• Experience project managing jobs and crews.
• Ability to read, interpret and accurately take-off constructions drawings.
• Ability to present information to a variety of audiences.
• Must be able to operate computer, standard and specialized software applications. 
• Must possess excellent skills in math, writing, public relations, communications and negotiations.
• Up to 50% travel to job sites.
• Valid CA Driver’s License (with a good driving record).
