We are looking for entry level candidates for our Service Representative position. Previous experience in the building industry is preferred but not required.

Job Description
As a Service Representative/Yard Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, loading, and distributing building materials as well as providing outstanding service to walk-in and call-in customers. You will support day-to-day warehouse operations, ensure orders are processed and fulfilled accurately, and maintain a clean and organized yard and counter area. This role requires physical stamina, customer service skills, and attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pull and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.

Operate forklift and other material handling equipment (training provided if needed).

Load and unload materials safely, including heavy items up to 100 lbs.

Ensure accurate inventory counts and material organization.

Assist customers in person and over the phone with product inquiries, order placement, and issue resolution.

Process quotes, orders, and returns accurately using point-of-sale and inventory systems.

Maintain cleanliness and safety in the yard and sales area.

Communicate with internal teams and vendors to coordinate deliveries or product availability.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

May be required to drive company vehicles (if qualified) to support deliveries.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous warehouse, yard, or retail customer service experience preferred.

Forklift experience and certification preferred (can train).

Ability to lift 100 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Must be reliable and punctual.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems preferred.

Must be able to work in all weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment.

Bilingual a plus but not required.
