POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for a variety of clerical duties such as obtaining, researching, distributing past due invoices, recording payments to customers’ accounts, as well as acting as a lead representative (liaison between Manager/Supervisor and Treasury Representative I) in the Department. Performs other duties as required.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the supervision of the Treasury Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: May include some or all of the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Creation and maintenance of Vendor Master Data
  • Places voids and processes reversals on checks
  • Processes daily deposits and posts payment to update customer accounts.
  • Reconciles daily banking reports via SAP; maintains and clears banking general ledger accounts.
  • Assists with month-end reconciliations and reports.
  • Monitors month-end close to ensure all items are completed prior to close of business
  • Works with bank personnel to resolve discrepancies.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Responsible for training and development of new employees and temporary personnel.
  • Reviews work of other representatives for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensures all daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are met.
  • Coordinates periodic meetings with Manager to address issues or concerns and overall productivity.
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by Company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • Other special projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three (3) year related experience and/or training.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
