We’re looking for an experienced and solution-driven ABAP Developer with 7+ years of strong SAP development experience who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment. This role requires a solid foundation in classical ABAP along with a willingness to learn and adopt modern SAP BTP technologies and development paradigms.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions in S/4HANA and ECC environments
  • Collaborate closely with functional and Basis teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Develop and enhance reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects)
  • Implement BADIs and enhancement points to extend standard SAP functionality
  • Build and maintain module pool applications and dialog programming
  • Develop ALV reports and interactive dashboards
  • Create and maintain SAPScript, Adobe Forms, and Smart FormsDevelop and integrate RFCs, BAPIs, and other function modules
  • Support integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems using modern tools and technologies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while ensuring system performance and stability
  • Analyze ABAP dumps, perform tracing, and execute performance tuning
  • Support multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Document technical specifications, development work, and support processes
  • Provide technical guidance and communicate solutions clearly to stakeholders

 

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and seven plus (7+) years of SAP ABAP development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong expertise in:

  • Standard ABAP and ABAP Objects (Classes/Modules)
  • Enhancement frameworks and BADI implementations
  • Report programming and transaction development
  • Module pool programming (dialog screens)
  • Function modules (basic, update, RFC, BAPI)
  • ALV Grid development
  • SAPScript and Smart Forms
  • SAP Screen Personas and ABAP WebDynpro
  • HR infotypes

Additional qualifications:

  • Experience working in both S/4HANA and ECC environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new SAP and cloud technologies

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  • Exposure to SAP Integration Suite, TPM, RPA, and Business Application Studio
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development (CAP and RAP)
  • Knowledge of extensibility frameworks in S/4HANA
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  • Experience with CDS Views and OData/RESTful services
  • Exposure to full-stack development within the SAP ecosystem
  • Experience with Eclipse and/or Visual Studio Code using ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub or Azure DevOps

 

Work Environment

This is an office-based role with a combination of sitting, standing, and computer-based work. The position may require flexibility in scheduling during system upgrades, testing cycles, and critical issue resolution.
