Customer Service Supervisor

 POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Territory Sales Manager, this position is responsible for providing support to the Ogden Retail Office by processing customer orders, invoices and credits, handles accounts receivable requests, assists the yard checking the loads for accuracy and is required to provide sales assistance for any walk-in commercial and retail customer. This position is also responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General supervision of the Regional Sales Manager & Admin Manager.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Customer service and office management

• Answers phones in a courteous and friendly manner and refers calls to appropriate party.

• Process and manages sales orders and change-orders received from customers, inside sales coordinator and sales representatives, set up sales orders, terms, payer and pre-lien data in SAP for initial order

• Perform weekly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory for the Ogden location

• Change delivery notes to reflect loading changes and inventory shortages

• Process yard service production orders for the Ogden location

• Process daily cash reconciliation for location and resolve any issues in a timely manner

• Make daily bank deposits

• Develops a working knowledge of all products and established procedures

• Work with Sales Teams to coordinate customer requests and to help provide superior customer service

• Become knowledgeable on all products and recommended installation requirements

• Assist in set up and maintenance of both indoor and outdoor product displays

• Weekly and monthly reporting responsibilities for retention per company policies

• Participate in semi-annual inventory counts

• Process PO’s for resale and expenses as requested for the Ogden Location

• Serve as backup for Customer Service

• Attend safety meetings and abide by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected

 

QALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

• High school education or equivalent required, some college level courses are a plus.

• Three years customer service experience preferred, experience in masonry or construction industry is a plus

• SAP experience preferred. Salesforce experience is a plus

• Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills

• Must demonstrate commitment to consistently delivering the highest quality customer service

• On the job training is required to be able to perform duties

• Requires strong accounting, clerical and basic computer skills

• Regular attendance is required

• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

• Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, use hands to fingers, handle or feel

• Frequently drive a personal vehicle for bank deposits

• Occasionally required to bend at the waist, lift and move up to 80 pounds

• Up to 25% travel time required

• Regular attendance is required
