Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Coordinates schedule for loading finished products on rail cars, containers, and trucks.
  • Works closely with Customer Service Coordinators to provide excellent service to all internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for yard organization, consolidation, and cleanliness.
  • Checks in trucks and containers, assign loads to Forklift Operators, verifies loads, completes applicable paperwork, and checks out trucks and containers.
  • May assign other daily tasks to forklift drivers.
  • Performs inventory control of all finished products, including cycle counts, pre-production counts, Tag Inventory, etc.
  • Handles outgoing and incoming U.P.S. and common carrier packages for all departments.
  • Collects weekly Inspection Sheets and reports maintenance issues for all forklifts and front-end loader to the Shipping Manager.
  • Acts as backup forklift and front-end loader operator.
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • All tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.


                Successful candidates will have:

  • High school education or equivalent preferred;
  • One (1) to three (3) years of shipping or warehouse experience preferred;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Email;
  • Be able to operate a forklift and maintain a forklift certification.
  • This position requires lifting of up to 75 lbs and requires use of personal protective equipment. 
  • Working conditions include a manufacturing plant environment that exposes employees to wet, humid conditions, extreme heat or cold, vibration, and moderate noise.
