Shift Supervisor

Here are the details:

• Supervises a department crew and oversees their daily work.
• Inspects plant equipment and machinery to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
• Responsible for meeting company standards for shift production and product quality.
• Prepares maintenance work orders to ensure equipment and machinery meet company standards.
• Prepares requested reports on a regular basis.
• Troubleshoot department problems, including bad product or process deficiencies and adjust as needed.
• Responsible for ensuring product changes happen efficiently and effectively.

• Responsible for knowing the operating schedule each day and ensuring the appropriate materials and setup are available
• Responsible for ensuring required materials, (adhesive tank, chemical additives, raw materials), and equipment are ready and used appropriately on each shift.
• Take regular inventories of department supplies for plant management.
• Responsible for the performance, training, development, and discipline, of subordinate employees.
• Maintains work area per company standards for safety and cleanliness.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
• All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Local Wage: $31.61 -$41.00/per hour
