PBP- Senior Production Supervisor
The Senior Production Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direction to Production Supervisors while supporting the daily execution of plant operations. This role serves as the lead operational supervisor on the production floor, ensuring consistency across shifts, driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Senior Production Supervisor acts as a resource, coach, and mentor to Production Supervisors and works closely with the Plant Manager to achieve operational goals. This position carries broader plant-wide responsibilities than a Production (Shift) Supervisor and plays a key role in coordinating production activities across departments and shifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
May include some or all of the following:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Production Supervisors across all shifts.
- Coordinate daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations.
- Monitor plant performance and drive accountability for safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, and operational standards.
- Assist in developing production plans and executing department objectives.
- Partner with supervisors to resolve operational issues and remove barriers to production.
- Coach and develop supervisors to strengthen leadership effectiveness and operational knowledge.
- Support employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, and performance management activities as needed.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
- Assist with production scheduling, staffing coordination, shutdown planning, and inventory management.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
- Serve as the acting operational leader during periods when the Plant Manager is unavailable.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical degree, certificate, or additional leadership training preferred.
- Minimum five years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Current Production Supervisor experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading teams in a manufacturing environment.

- Ability to analyze production metrics and operational data.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
