Production Supervisor - Swing Shift
We are seeking a motivated leader to join our operations team as a Production Supervisor - Swing Shift. The Production Supervisor II is responsible for directing the daily activities of production personnel on the swing shift while ensuring safe, efficient, and productive operations. This role provides frontline leadership, supports employee development, troubleshoots operational and quality issues, and ensures adherence to company policies and safety standards.
The successful candidate will foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement while ensuring production and quality objectives are achieved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned production employees during the swing shift.
- Ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are met.
- Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot process, equipment, and product quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure required materials, supplies, and resources are available to support shift operations.
- Complete production reports and communicate operational information between shifts.
- Support employee training, performance development, and accountability efforts.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with all safety requirements.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations teams to support production objectives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to three years of manufacturing experience required.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead employees in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a union manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Experience leading teams, projects, or departmental initiatives.
Local Pay: $42-$5 per hour, depending on experiance.
