Maintenance Manager

PABCO Roofing Products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations and drive equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. This position is responsible for directing maintenance personnel, overseeing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, managing maintenance budgets, and ensuring production equipment operates safely and effectively.

The ideal candidate is a hands on leader with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge who can balance strategic planning with day to day execution in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Manage maintenance work orders, inventory, spare parts, and contractor services.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to support plant objectives.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets and capital improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze equipment performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support plant shutdowns, equipment installations, and major maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, projects, and contractor relationships.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems. (FIIX preferred.)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing union employees.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or reliability-centered maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance and industrial safety practices.

Compensation $120,000 - $155,000

Salary Range: 
Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs.
