HR Intern

Part-Time HR Internship – Fall 2025 (Tacoma, WA)
September–December | Onsite | $21/hour

PABCO Roofing Products, a manufacturing division of Pacific Coast Companies, is looking for a part-time Human Resources Intern to join our Tacoma team this fall! This opportunity is perfect for a student or early-career professional interested in gaining real-world HR experience in a busy, supportive workplace.

With our HR/Admin Assistant heading out on maternity leave, we’re hoping to bring in someone who’s organized, helpful, and eager to learn.

Schedule & Duration:

• Internship runs mid-September through December

• Part-time (flexible with class schedules)

• Onsite in Tacoma’s Port area

What You'll Be Doing:
You’ll be working directly with our HR Generalist and supporting day-to-day HR functions such as:

• Recruiting support – posting jobs, tracking applicants, and prepping materials

• New hire onboarding – preparing paperwork, organizing orientations, and helping with the onboarding checklist

• Employee file management – updating records and helping with compliance tracking in SuccessFactors

• Admin tasks – organizing documents, answering emails, helping with HR communications (maybe even making a few fun Canva graphics!)

• Other support – assisting with projects, events, and anything else that comes up in a busy HR office

What We’re Looking For:

• Interest in Human Resources or related field

• Strong communication and organization skills

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Respect for confidentiality

• Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in

• Current student or recent grad preferred

Pay:

• $21/hour
