PABCO, Building Products is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our subsidiary HR team in Rancho Cordova. 

 

This position provides HR expertise and support to multiple locations across the subsidiary, including employee relations, recruiting, compensation, compliance, training and development, and HR systems administration. The HR Generalist serves as a trusted resource to locations and employees, helping to administer HR programs, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, and support subsidiary-wide HR initiatives. This position reports to the Subsidiary HR Manager.

 

The Job:

  • Demonstrates the company values and supports management and the HR team to ensure behavior within the location/division is consistent with company values.
  • Build collaborative relationships with employees, managers, locations, and HR partners across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, policy interpretation, workplace concerns, and performance-related issues.
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Supports HR system administration, including report generation, data audits, testing, SharePoint maintenance, LMS administration, and timekeeping support.
  • Supports compensation administration activities, including maintaining job descriptions and salary ranges, market research, and pay-related reviews.
  • Coordinates and supports recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, background checks, and new hire orientation.
  • Research thoroughly and assist with policy reviews and updates in compliance with employment law updates.
  • Administer HR systems and programs, including reporting, audits, testing, LMS administration, SharePoint maintenance, and timekeeping support.
  • Assist with training and development initiatives, compliance training, and employee development programs.
  • Conduct research and help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support subsidiary-wide HR projects, wellness initiatives, employee engagement activities, and special events.
  • Gather, analyze, and report HR-related data to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • May support wellness administration, including company-wide challenges, events, and research as needed.
  • All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation:

$75,000 - $79,000 annually (based on experience).

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Human resources experience supporting multiple HR functions such as employee relations, recruiting, compensation, training, or compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office applications, and reporting tools preferred.
  • PHR certification is a plus.
