Business Analyst and Project Specialist
We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team in a building materials manufacturing company. This individual will focus on the development and enhancement of our systems and processes to optimize our manufacturing and warehouse operations and improve efficiency and quality. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technical experts to define and prioritize requirements, ensure successful project delivery, and drive continuous improvement.
What is the Job?
- Business requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders, managers, and process owners to gather and analyze business requirements specific to our industry.
- Define and prioritize: Create and maintain a backlog that captures user experiences, feature requests, and system enhancements. Prioritize backlog items based on business value, strategic objectives, and stakeholder input.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and technical teams to define technical requirements, ensure feasibility, and guide the implementation and adoption of systems.
- Communication: Effectively communicate project updates, progress, and changes to stakeholders, including managers, executives, and team members. Facilitate consensus to ensure alignment between business expectations and technical implementation.
- Systems integrity: Coordinate and conduct system testing, user acceptance testing, training documentation and quality assurance activities to ensure the solutions meet the defined requirements and are appropriately aligned.
- Identify optimization opportunities: Proactively improve processes, system functionality, and data accuracy. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process enhancements, leverage technology solutions, and drive operational excellence.
- Develops project charters, documentation, process maps, training, reports, and procedures that reflect best practice with input from and in coordination with others.
- Performs moderate to complex analyses of processes to develop solution alternatives in collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Three to ten (3-10) years in systems and process analysis related to people and equipment, especially at the related to supply chain management innovation, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have extensive process and analytical skills, ability to navigate root cause analysis and bottleneck engineering while building consensus
- Five (5) years in the manufacturing industry, preferred emphasis with SCM and distribution
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Salary offered depends on experience: $80,000 - $120,000 annualized salary
