PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years.  PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction.

 

This is a temporary position to fill to assist in the material purchases at the plant. This role may be responsible for picking up emergency parts and other items of immediate need.

Responsibilities: may include some or all of the following:

 

  • Creates, maintains and receives purchase orders for raw materials and materials for all departments.
  • Ensures that purchase orders have correct price, quantity, payment terms, taxability, cost center and GL Codes before giving to proper management for approval.
  • Works with manager to ensure proper application of tax on purposes that may be eligible for the manufacturing exemption.
  • May be responsible for contacting and sourcing vendors concerning availability, pricing and delivery.
  • Maintains a good rapport with vendors.
  • Responsible for tracking the consumption and ordering of raw materials, stock supplies, etc. as required.
  • Schedule deliveries of raw materials.
  • Prepares and maintains various reports.
  • Ensures timely receipt of vendor receiving paperwork to assist in the prompt payment of invoices.
  • Maintains accurate records and control reports.
  • Responsible for creating and receiving any reoccurring end of month PO’s.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties as needed.
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Entry Level with up to 3 years’ experience
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel (experience using SAP, preferred)
  • Excellent Math Skills
