Material Planner

 

What is the job?

 

Join our manufacturing team as a Material Planner, where you’ll play a key role in keeping our plant running efficiently. You’ll manage raw material inventories, solve discrepancies, and work closely with production to keep inventory accurate and operations running smoothly.

 

  • Create, distribute, and maintain daily production and inventory reports using Excel and SAP.
  • Monitor material usage, investigate variances, and communicate findings promptly to management.
  • Manage vendor updates, process purchase orders, and review invoices for accuracy.
  • Research and recommend new vendors as needed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for purchasing maintenance parts and plant supplies.
  • Assist with labeling and packaging of outgoing products.
  • Support general administrative tasks and collaborate across all departments.

 

You and your experience:

 

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of inventory, materials, or planning experience
  • Strong Excel and SAP skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a great team player

 

What is the work schedule?

 

  • Fully onsite to support the operations.
  • Monday – Friday 7 am – 4 am or 8 am – 5 pm

 

What is the pay?

 

  • Wage offered: $27 - $35 per hour, depends on experience.
