The QuietRock Newark, CA location is currently accepting resumes for a Manager of Marketing and Business Development. This position is responsible for implementing and managing customer and sales data and analytics to support of the company strategy.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Drives a marketing plan that addresses multiple customer audiences: distributors, architects, state and federal agencies, engineers, contractors and private construction firms that may influence the choice of product use or supply within the assigned territory. 
  • Creates product training, literature, advertising and tools for both internal and external use
  • Responsible for ascertaining and providing key strategic market insights to management.
  • Promotes customer goodwill by providing market and technical information and acting as a catalyst towards better relationships within the industry.
  • Acquires market knowledge to provide management for preparing budgets, forecasts, market targets and trends, pricing strategies and other information necessary to assist the sales plan.
  • Responsible for marketing program including development and inventory control of samples and literature and for adherence to budget and explanation of exceptions.
  • Manages certain House accounts including customer support, pricing and training.  May travel to customer locations to promote PABCO and support customer sales efforts.
  • Assists General Sales Manager and Territory Sales Managers as necessary.
  • Manages customer service team and directs activities of the shipping department
  • Develops concepts for user experience and assists in maintenance of the PABCO Gypsum, QuietRock and PABCO Paper websites.
  • Directs the implementation of new systems, physical changes, and strategies.
  • Manages the recruitment, performance, training, development, promotion, discipline, and termination of subordinate employees.  Assigns objectives and conducts performance appraisals of direct reports.

 

Successful candidates will have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing from four-year college or university; and
  • five (5) to eight (8) year related experience and/or training; or
  • equivalent combination of education and experience.
