The Newark, CA location is currently accepting resumes for a Local Class A Truck Driver.  The main responsibilities for this position are operating a semi-tractor with a set of double bottom dumps, loading and unloading gypsum rock and operating other heavy machinery.

What is the schedule?

We are seeking Drivers for our Swing and Grave Shifts (Typically 1:45pm-10:15pm and 9:45pm-6:15am)

 

What is the pay?

Hourly wage offered: Estimated annual salary is $64,000 - $105,000 per year (dependent on overtime).

 

What is the job?

  • Inspects trucks daily verifying that truck is safe to drive and fills out inspection sheet.
  • Loads and unloads products from trucks.
  • Drives truck to pick-up location and delivers product.
  • Transports products in a safe and timely manner.
  • Ability to operate a Front End Loader.
  • Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintains work area according to plant standard for safety, efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Attends safety meeting and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.

 

You and your experience:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must have current Double Trailers Endorsment and ability to operate a set of double bottom dumps.
  • ability to operate a forklift and other heavy machinery.
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Maintain a Class A commercial California state driver’s license.
