Industrial Electrician
What’s the job?
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair all electrical and simple mechanical and instrumental equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to design and assemble motor starters.
- Ability to design and assemble electrical controls.
- Ability to read and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
- Ability to run conduit, pulls wires and make connections with a minimum of assistance.
- Ability to do simple welding.
- Knowledge of AC Drive.
- Ability to order and reorder parts.
- Records daily activities in logbook.
- Ability to assemble motor starter and other circuits.
- Troubleshoots and repairs field instruments.
- Troubleshoots of PLC, AC Drive and QCS.
- Works extended hours and responds to repair calls at any hour of the day to keep mill in operation.
- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Maintain work area per plant standard for safety, efficiency and cleanliness.
- Attend safety meetings and abide by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- 1+ year working experience in electrical field, preferred
- Ability to read and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.

Here at our Newark location, we make Gypsum Wallboard. Your job as an Industrial Electrician is troubleshooting and repairing all electrical equipment and controls, mechanical equipment and instrumentation.
Wage offered depends on experience: $31.24/hour - $41.24/hour
