Here at our Newark location, we make Gypsum Wallboard. Your job as a Finance Manager is responsible for managing site accounting including Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet, annual budget and other financial and inventory reporting. As well as managing accounting, administrative and clerical functions and has responsibility for local information systems issues.

What’s the Job?

 

  • Manages the financial accounting function with an emphasis on timely and accurate completion of month end closing through Profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet review. This includes regular financial and condition reports.
  • Prepares the annual budget to include manufacturing costs, selling and general administrative costs.
  • Responsible for inventory management and reporting. Accountable for accurate reporting of raw material usage required to make finished goods.
  • Analyzes financial information and prepares a variety or periodic reports that may include labor and loss efficiency, raw material usage, overhead analysis, sales margins, etc.
  • Supervises accounting, administrative, and clerical staff which may include accounting, payroll, reception, cost accounting, purchasing, and/or general office assistance.
  • All other tasks assigned.

 

You and your experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from for year college or university; or equivalent certification (i.e. CPA, CMA, etc.) and
  • Five (5) or more years related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
