Electrical Project Engineer
What is the Job?
- Maintain software back-ups of all operating systems and drive programs in use at the plant.
- Learn company standards for electrical and controls systems.
- Work with outside vendors to maintain current knowledge of electrical and control systems.
- Maintain plant system updates as industry progress occurs.
- Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production, efficiencies, and costs.
- Maintain a working laptop computer capable of remote access to appropriate plant systems. Coordinate with TSS to insure network and communications continuity.
- Assists with problem solving activities with management and maintenance staff.
- Develop and maintain electrical, controls and process drawings.
- Provides controls support for the manufacturing facility and assist maintenance in troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Zero to five (0-5) years in Electrical Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have extensive PLC and HMI programming experience
- Five (5) years in the gypsum industry, preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred

Here at our Newark location, we make Gypsum Wallboard. Your job as an Electrical Project Engineer is to be responsible for the development, installation, and maintenance of the manufacturing plant’s basic to moderately complex electrical and electronic control systems.

Salary offered depends on experience: $75,000 - $95,000 annualized salary
