PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years.  PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction.

 

This position is responsible for performing a variety of routine and non-routine accounting, administrative and/or production reporting functions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Analyzes and investigates routine to moderately complex account payable and billing issues.
  • Prepares a variety of routine to moderately complex periodic financial and/or production reports.
  • Performs reconciliation of routine to moderately complex transactions.
  • Receives and reviews purchase orders, invoices, check requests or other related documentation for accuracy, completeness and compliance with financial policies, procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Reviews invoice and terms, determines appropriate payment amounts and creates payable records in SAP.
  • Reviews and analyzes payments terms, vendor account statements, including payments and credits and other vendor data for accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Create purchase orders for routine monthly expenses.
  • Creates new vendors and updates existing vendor information as needed.
  • Helps to determine product taxability.
  • May have some responsibilities for inventory and/or production reporting.
  • Monitors daily shipment logs.
  • Answers telephone calls and refers calls to appropriate staff. Greets and answers questions from visitors.
  • Sorts and distributes incoming mail and faxes.
  • Organizes plant tours and lunches for visitors.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties which may include picking up and sorting mail, ordering supplies and equipment, filing, maintaining lists and databases and running reports for management.
  • May provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • All other tasks and/or responsibilities assigned.

 

 

Successful candidates will have:

 

  • 2 – 5 years+ related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills and program knowledge with Microsoft products and SAP.
