In August of 2013 QuietRock® and its complete line of accessories products became part of the PABCO® Gypsum family.  PABCO® Gypsum is one of the leading manufacturers of wallboard in the United States and has provided quality products and service since 1972.

PABCO QuietRock is seeking an Inside Sales Representative at our Newark, CA location. This position is responsible for educating, promoting and selling products to various customer bases and influencers in addition to supporting customers and assigned outside sales team.

 

Essential Duties And Responsibilitiesmay include some or all of the following:

Sales

  • Answers calls and web inquiries from all types of customers and prospects:  distributors, architects, state and federal agencies, engineers, and contractors that may influence the choice of product used or supplied within the assigned territory. 
  • Provides product training, literature and samples and assists with other territory needs.  Along with the outside sales counterpart, develops long-term relationships with customers based on trust and care.
  • Provides and promotes greater market knowledge to assist management in preparing budgets, forecasts, market targets and trends, assists in developing pricing strategies and other information necessary to assist the sales organization.
  • In a team approach with outside sales personnel, carries out the sales programs and policies approved by management for assigned territory.
  • Maintains customer, project and other market data in Salesforce.com
  • Generates and follows up on price quotes to dealers within assigned territory.
  • May perform job lead searches in territory and tracks them using Salesforce.com.  Utilizes job leads to promote specific work throughout territory.
  • May visit customers and job sites as required to insure necessary customer service.
  • Assists in resolution of product complaints and problems.  Reports unresolved issues to management for disposition.  May handle warranty issues.
  • Promotes customer goodwill by providing market and technical information and acting as a catalyst towards better relationships within the industry.

 

General

  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S>) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; and   
  • Five (5) or more years of directly related experience or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
