Starting in our Electrical department means you're ready to be there for your team and exhibit a steadfast commitment to safe work practices. This position serves our plant through project work, emergent fixes on the production line, assistance with equipment installation and regular preventative maintenance of all areas in the plant. 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates with others to schedule shutdown and run-time electrical maintenance.
  • Coordinate with the plant electricians to help ensure maintenance requests are appropriately prioritized and completed.  
  • Inspect the quality of all electrical repairs and new installations for safety and compliance with NEC code.
  • Maintain a complete library of software back-ups of all operating systems and drive programs in use at the plant. 
  • Maintain a complete inventory of all electrical spares needed to ensure against unplanned shutdowns in excess of 24 hours. 
  • Maintain an inventory database detailing the parts and location which they are stored.
  • Work with outside vendors to maintain current knowledge of electrical and control systems. 
  • Maintain plant system updates as industry progress occurs.
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • All other special projects or tasks as assigned.


Successful Candidates Will Have:


  • Journeyman Electrician with three (3) to five (5) years experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to maintain a forklift certificate;
  • Requires electrical, mathematical, mechanical, and troubleshooting experience to be able to perform duties.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
