PABCO currently has a rare opportunity for a Director of Sales. 


This position is responsible for the oversight of the sales and pricing strategy of the company products. It is responsible for overall planning and management for identifying, promoting and selling products to all customer channels, and development of territory sales managers and administrative sales personnel.

  • This person works autonomously under the minimal direction of the Senior Vice President.
  • They resolve critical issues and contribute to organizational development. They make strategic decisions based on company goals and objectives, and they develop guidelines, processes, and procedures for functional area.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Monitors competitor products and sales.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs.
  • Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Develops, analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Responsible for the recruitment, performance, training, development, promotion, discipline, and termination of subordinate employees.  Assigns objectives and conducts performance appraisals of direct reports.
  • All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; and
  • ten (10) year related experience and/or training; and
  • five (5) year managerial experience, preferably in the building products industry; or
  • equivalent combination of education and experience.
