OVERHEAD DOOR INSTALLER

POSITION TYPE:    Full-Time, Hourly

LOCATION:              Denver, CO

BENEFITS:               Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k

WAGE SCALE:        $25.00-$30.00

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• New installations and repairs/service.
• Effective communication with staff, customer, and management.
• Utilize resources for complex trouble shooting (Peers, manufacturers, and management).
• Ability to assess repairs needed and to structure an executable plan.
• Operate equipment such as Forklift and scissor lift.
• Assures there is sufficient and appropriate material and equipment on truck to adequately complete the assigned jobs.
• Drives to and from commercial/residential job sites and unloads garage doors materials at the job site.
• Cleans job site daily after work is completed.
• Installs doors and openers in accordance with company and manufacturer standards.
• Checks work for errors and corrects them if necessary.
• Accounts for material and time used on each job, and reports paperwork daily.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Competencies in Life Safety, Smoke Curtains/Fire Doors, Rolling Steel, Dock Leveler Systems.
• Must have 3 years installing garage doors on commercial projects preferred.
• A valid CO driver’s license (with a good driving record).
• Ability to lift in excess of 75 lbs.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
