OFFICE CLERK

POSITION TYPE:     Full-Time, Hourly

PAY RANGE:            $21-$24 per hour (Depends on experience)

LOCATION:              Denver, CO

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answers phones, handles customer inquiries appropriately and direct inbound calls to appropriate party
• Process new hire paperwork for field employees
• Open, sort and distribute incoming mail
• Sets up job contracts files per requirements, i.e. private, public, residential, commercial, etc. 
• Track and arrange insurance for jobs
• Communicates daily with contractors regarding questions on contracts, pre-lien information, insurance requirements, billing procedures, etc.
• Assist Estimators with paperwork
• Monitors retention files and manual billings
• Maintains files, reports and handle warranties
• May perform other duties such as assisting with payroll.
• Various administration duties including ordering office supplies
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum one year of previous experience in a construction environment
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, detailed oriented, good organizational skills, and professional telephone skills in dealing with the customers.
• Ability to multi-task
• Regular attendance is required
• Valid CO Driver’s License
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
