COMMERCIAL OVERHEAD DOOR ESTIMATOR

POSITION TYPE:      Full-Time, Salary

LOCATION:               Denver, CO

BENEFITS:                Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k, Profit Sharing

WAGE SCALE:          $75,000 - $95,000

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and submit bids, actively tracking progress and outcomes
• Performing take-offs and interpreting plans
• Managing overhead door jobs and providing oversight of all phases of projects
• Direct interaction with Owners, Architects, Fire protection Engineers, General Contractors Project Managers and Superintendents
• Processing submittals and corresponding with customers for RFIs, Submittals, Change Orders, and Project Close-Out documents
• Schedule preparation and revisions including coordination with other trades
• Reviewing and projecting job costs/costs to complete on a monthly basis with Spilker Pacific Management
• Field measurements and job checks
• Coordinate with the team to direct installers, materials and equipment
• Ensuring that specifications are being followed and that work is proceeding on schedule and within budget
• Developing and maintaining relationships with new and current customers
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have Estimator experience in the commercial overhead door or garage door field with successful sales record
• Must be able to read, interpret and accurately take-off construction drawings and specifications

• Advanced knowledge MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook

• Requires good verbal and written communications skills and a professional manner in dealing with customers and employees
• Up to 20% travel to job sites or locations
• Valid CO Driver’s License
