POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Packaging Line Supevisor, this position supports the Packaging area (line 4); and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Unload brick from kiln cars and palletize
• Sort brick according to specifications
• Throw brick that does not meet quality standards onto grog belt
• Unclog grog belt or re-stock plastic as needed
• Re-stock packaging line with pallets and/or wood strips
• Clean on or around grog belt and kiln cars
• Maintains work area according to company specifications for cleanliness and safety
• All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Predictable and Regular in-person attendance is required, includes overtime and weekends as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Basic reading, writing and math skills
• Ability to follow simple instructions
