POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Yard Services Supervisor, this position is responsible for operating a mason saw machine and ensuring the saw is cutting properly; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Cuts brick according to supervisor’s instruction.
• Checks saw to ensure that it has the right measure, cuts a sample brick to test before a run.
• Re-checks saw every 2 hours to ensure the measurement is still correct.
• Cleans up saw, saw pans of bricks and chips.
• Stacks cut brick on pallets.
• Assists with banding and bagging operations if necessary.
• Maintains work area according to company specifications for cleanliness and safety.
• All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
