POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, this position supports the Sales Team in all areas of Customer Service; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Maintains contact and provides internal support to Outside Sales Representative.
• Process and manage sales orders, terms, payer, pre-lien and change-orders received into SAP and distribute to appropriate departments.
• Issues Invoices, Returns for Credit, Credit and Debit Memos following the guidelines outlined in Basalite Policy documents.
• Processes cash sales
• Stock checks and material availability.
• Assist and support walk-in customers by providing product information, processing orders, and ensuring a positive in-person experience.
• Order status reports for Customers and Sales Representatives
• Checks inventory and participate in semi-annual inventory count, two Saturdays a year.
• Building relationships with current and potential customers to establish trust and rapport.
• Answer incoming calls, e-mails, text messages and respond to customer inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Demonstrates superior product knowledge to answer customer questions and inquiries.
• Attend in-house sales meetings when needed.
• Processes required paperwork and help maintain job files.
• Supports Sales staff and Sales manager as needed.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies; and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Predictable and regular attendance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training on Inside Sales support in masonry industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.•
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

• Must be able to operate a personal computer plus related software and other various standard office machines and equipment necessary to complete duties. Working knowledge of SAP S/4 software and Salesforce preferred but not required.
