POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Plant Superintendent, this position is responsible for operating the 988 CAT Front End to move raw material and supports other areas in the plant; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Checks the oil and grease on the 988 CAT Front End Loader.
• Cleans up the raw bricks and select piles.
• Checks the crusher, grease, and oil the crusher belts.
• Push PEC trucks (Clay hauler trucks) off the hill for mixing.
• Sets up clay and mixes for dry pan according to order specifications.
• Sends clay up to the dry pan.
• All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Requires on-the-job training to be able to perform duties.
• Depth and color perception skills required.
• Must be able to pass the company Heavy Equipment Operation Certification.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, and superiors.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
