POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Dry Pan Supervisor, this position is responsible for operating dry pan, grind dirt, do general maintenance on pans, grease pans; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Operate dry pan – grind dirt.
• Perform general maintenance on pans.
• Operate forklift and skid steer.
• Grease pans.
• Maintain belts, clean rollers, change rollers.
• Check and change screen as needed.
• Check colors - check fine dirt for rocks.
• Check and maintain hoppers, chutes.
• Must be able to communicate with forklift operators and other plant personnel via desk phone regarding clay changes.
• Lockout tagout all machines
• Maintains work area according to company specifications for cleanliness and safety.
• All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Requires on-the-job training to be able to perform duties.
• Be able to obtain forklift certification by Interstate Brick.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers and superiors.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to follow simple instructions.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Plant environment with loud noise, moving machinery, moving belts and equipment, dusty, dirty.

• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Including a clean respirator.

PAY RANGE $20.00 to $23.00 Per Hour
