ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 

  • Learn and know names of block product to include sizes and color details
  • Ability to read and use measuring tape
  • Learn and understand the controls and proper operation of the cuber, splitter and depalleter 
  • Knowledge of all Safety Procedures and Lock Out Tag Out procedures for all pieces of equipment
  • Inspect and recognize block product for good/bad quality
  • Must be able to lift and stack all types of block products and pallets
  • Ability to learn and understand all cubing patterns
  • Ability to learn and complete proper cleaning process for mixers including Lock Out Tag Out procedures
  • Keep area clean and organized for duration of shift
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned by company or its designated representatives
  • Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

  • Requires basic math, reading and writing skills
  • On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties
  • Learn and follow all safety procedures for the equipment
  • Ability to shovel and do general clean up duties
  • Ability to operate splitter, cuber, forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties
  • Production Line experience preferred.
  • Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk and listen; Stand, walk, and sit; Stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Occasionally required to bend at the waist; Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

  • Manufacturing environment with moderate to heavy noise.
  • Work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
  • Outdoor environment with exposure to elements such as wind, rain, dust, ambient heat
  • Wear mandatory and/or other appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
