Under the supervision of the Production Scheduler, the Delivery Driver is responsible for driving trucks to pick up and deliver products; load and unload material and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


  • Operates ELD.
  • Fills out log books, work sheets and reports.
  • Secures loads with ropes, straps, brick boards and tarps.
  • Determines types of equipment to be used for jobs.
  • Transports products throughout California to customers, stores, yards and jobsites.
  • Loads and unloads trucks as needed.
  • Maintains and fuels trucks and performs inspections on equipment.
  • Maintains work area according to company standards for cleanliness.
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.
  • Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • Regular attendance is required.


QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


  • Requires minimum 5 years’ driving experience.
  • Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
  • Requires on-the-job training to perform the duties of the job.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and drives a variety of trucks including doubles, T & T semi’s.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid California Class A driver’s license and a good driving record and be certified to operate a forklift.
  • Regular attendance is required.
