POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this position supports part of the Pavers & SRW Sales Teams in areas of customer service. This position is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Assist counter sale customers through the entire sales process.
- Runs a variety of reports including:
- Order entry.
- Invoicing/credits.
- Monthly job close-out reconciliations.
- Stock checks and material availability.
- Order status reports for Customers and Sales Representatives
- Contacts customers by telephone at times.
- Prepares samples for customers and sales reps as requested along with preparation to send out.
- Keeps sales office area organized, stocked with samples, and uncluttered.
- Attends in-house sales meetings when needed.
- Performs required paperwork and helps maintains structural job files.
- Participates in physical semi-annual inventory counts. Two weekends required per calendar year.
- Supports other Sales staff and Sales manager as needed.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Predictable, and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training on Inside Sales/Customer Service support in concrete masonry industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of masonry and code standards preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, co-workers, and vendors.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be able to operate a company provided computer plus related software and other various standard office machines and equipment necessary to complete duties. Working knowledge of SAP S/4 software preferred but not required.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of the operations of a 10-key adding machine, copier, facsimile machine and any other office equipment required to perform duties.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, including construction terminology and mathematical conversations.
- Predictable, and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Salary Range $19.00-$22.00 / HR. DOE
