POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this position supports Production Reporting & Analysis; Master Data Management and Inventory Audit & Control in all areas of goods manufactured.  The Production Data Analyst is also responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General

Master Data

  • Create and Change BOMs and product Routing details
  • Create, change, activate and deactivate parts and part numbers
  • Maintain material codes and master data records for region

Production Order Management

  • Create, confirm, and post production detail to all production orders
  • Reconcile, close, and delete production orders as required

Raw Material Data Management

  • Reconciliation planned Raw Material consumption with production reporting
  • Execute Monthly Raw Material Reconciliation
  • Generate Raw Material PO’s and coordinate material deliveries with production leads

Month-End Close

  • Reconcile Activities for month-end: Labor, Maintenance/Molds, Natural Gas/Electricity
  • Audit and monitor for month-end close goods movements, quality hold, and WIP activities

Production Analysis

  • Monitor, trend and report on production scrap
  • Monitor, trend and report on production yields & rates as compared to design standard

General Plant Support

  • Assist with product transfers between plants -intercompany stock transfers
  • Assist with planning, preparation and completion of semi-annual (Saturday) inventory for the location
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with production personnel and other related administration personnel, i.e., supervisors, purchasing staff, and plant managers
  • Attend safety meetings and abide by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned by the company or its designated representatives.
  • Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting/Finance preferred) or minimum of three years of related experience or combination of education and experience, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, data analysis, inventory control systems, manufacturing environments, production processes and raw materials.
  • On the job training is provided to be able to perform duties.
  • Strong aptitude for organizing personal tasks and repetitive duties in a dynamic environment.
  • Must have strong communication, teamwork, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use and operate a personal computer, spreadsheet and work processing software, calculator, 10-key adding machine, copier, facsimile machine, multiple phone lines and any other office equipment required to perform duties.
  • Knowledge of SAP Production Planning and Materials Management modules preferred.
  • Requires excellent written and oral communication, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

SALARY: 55K TO 68K annually DOE
