POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, this position supports the Yard and Production departments. This position is responsible for ensuring a clean and organized work environment by adhering to housekeeping standards and consistently applying the principles of the 5S methodology. The Forklift Operator/5S is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Perform routine exterior cleaning, including blowing the perimeter of buildings and completing additional tasks as needed.
- On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
- Implement and uphold 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to promote efficiency, safety, and cleanliness in the workplace.
- Sweep and maintain cleanliness of all interior building spaces, including the Time Clock Room.
- Empty and dispose of waste from all interior trash cans regularly.
- Clean and maintain floor drains to ensure proper drainage and hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash line area.
- Empty and sanitize refrigerators as scheduled or as needed.
- Perform general yard maintenance to keep outdoor areas clean and debris-free; operate the sweeper up to twice daily in designated areas.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, sweepers, and shredders as required.
- Clean one production line per week.
- Apply workplace organization principles to ensure tools and materials are easily accessible and properly stored.
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including sweeping, washing, and general area maintenance.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and readiness across all work areas.
- Adhere consistently to plant rules, safety practices, and housekeeping standards.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative.
- Attend safety meetings and abide by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.

- Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with peers and management.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other necessary equipment, including a sweeper, to effectively perform assigned duties.

Salary: Hourly - $16.50-$19.00/hour depending on experience.
