POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager and Manufacturing Administrator, this position supports the office and plant.  Enters production data and sales order into various computer programs.  Takes and delivers messages; provides information to callers. Types and proofreads correspondence generated by management and other staff, and researches and compiles special reports; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


  • Locates and provides parts and components to maintenance or production personnel; provides information of parts availability or estimated delivery schedules.
  • Load and unload trucks.  Performs receiving duties, to include verification of items received, vendor billing and proper storage per shop procedures and standards.
  • Maintains cleanliness and order in storage areas.
  • Ensures that inventory on-hand balances are maintained.
  • Prepares and forwards or files documentation and paperwork associated with assigned duties, i.e., purchase orders, parts requests, work orders, receivers, and packing lists.
  • Performs routine parts, components, materials and supplies inventories according to established schedules or as directed by supervisor.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with vendors, maintenance or production personnel and other related administration personnel, i.e., supervisor, purchasing staff, or plant manager.
  • Operates Extrusion Machine and Completes any required reports properly.
  • Checks loader and unloader for raw material.
  • Keeps work area clean and organized.
  • Attends safety meetings and obeys all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience. 
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Requires excellent written and oral communications, mathematical and problem-solving skills with special attention to details.
  • Possess a high sense of urgency and initiative.
  • Requires the ability to exchange information for the purpose of obtaining information or clarifying details. Performs such within well-established policies, procedures and standards.
  • Requires the ability to operate, maneuver and/or control the actions of equipment, machinery, tools, and/or materials used in performing essential functions.
  • Requires the ability to utilize a wide variety of reference, descriptive and design data and information.
  • Requires ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.  Involves semi-routine standardized work with some latitude for independent judgment concerning choices of action.  On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
  • Manufacturing production machinery experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate extruders and any other equipment required to perform duties.
  • Predictable and Regular Attendance is required.

  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms;  Talk and listen; Stand, walk, and sit.
  • Occasionally required to bend at the waist; Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
