 Maintenance Electrician

$25 - $28/hours Depending on Qualifications and Experience

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE: 

: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Maintenance Lead, this position supports the plant facility in all areas of Maintenance and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks on time
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required
