POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating all incoming calls and connecting lines to ensure prompt efficient telephone communications and courteous service. This position is also responsible for stocking office supplies and beverages in the conference room; and is responsible for demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Answers all incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Professionally greets in-person visitors and directs them accordingly
- Oversees office supplies, monitors on-hand stock; and ordering replenishment stock as needed
- Works with company’s IT department to diagnose and correct phone system issues
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail
- Assists other administrative and sales departments as needed
- Schedule conference room requests
- Monitor incoming fax and distribute to the correct person
- Stocking conference room beverages and kitchen supplies
- Label and fulfill sample request and ship out
- Scan documents
- Process credits for pallet returns
- Serves as a backup in processing the retail sales order log
- Serves as a backup in entering dealer orders
- Serves as a backup for will-call
- Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Minimum of six months of switchboard/receptionist experience desirable.
- Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Ability to use and operate an adding machine, calculator, typewriter, radio and telephone switchboard.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required with a professional phone voice and mannerism.
- Requires the ability to communicate with the public and employees at all levels.
- Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.

SALARY RANGE: $21.00/HR
