POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Superintendent, this position supports the plant in all areas of operating the cuber for production machines and verifies product quality and output; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Operates cubing machine and verifies that machine is running properly and safely.
- Checks product quality and discards sub-standard product.
- Properly marks the color code on each pallet and partial pallet.
- Assists machine operators as needed.
- Fills our required paperwork.
- Keep work area clean.
- Check height on cuber elevator plate.
- Check cuber side clamps not breaking blocks.
- Checks that pallets of blocks are stacked neatly.
- Greases cuber machine and conveyor.
- Able to communicate any issues to your supervisor.
- Teamwork player.
- Able to report and fill out maintenance work order request.
- Able to help in other areas as needed.
- Able to identify different colors.
- Able to identify poor quality and bad split.
- Keep safety gates close all the time.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Predictable and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as well as rotating shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Requires basic math, reading and writing skills
- On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
- Learn and follow all safety procedures for the equipment
- Ability to shovel and do general clean up duties
- Communicate effectively with peers and management
- Predictable and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as well as rotating shifts.

SALARY RANGE: $24.00-$29.00/HR. DOE
