POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, this position supports the production in all areas of raw material movement inclusive of stockpile, bin movement, loading of trucks and loading of feed hoppers for the manufacturing facility and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  

  • Learn and know all aggregates by visual indicators
  • Understand daily production schedule and resulting impact on material demand
  • Demonstrate advanced operation & control of front end loader
  • Inspect front end loader every day and perform required Periodic Maintenance (PM) duties
  • Push up all loads that are delivered by aggregate haul trucks and manage aggregate stock piles / storage bins
  • Fill production aggregate hopers as needed throughout the day
  • Load truck with block dump
  • Keep area around aggregate belts clean
  • Keep trash dumped throughout plant and assist in yard clean up
  • Remove snow during winter months
  • Support production personnel when loader duties are not required
  • Keep workspace area clean and clutter-free
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by company or its designated representatives
  • Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • Regular attendance is required.

  • Advanced knowledge of front-end loader operation and controls
  • On-the-job training is required to be able to perform all duties
  • Able to follow all safety procedures and rules
  • Communicate effectively with peers and management
  • Ability to shovel and do general clean up duties
  • Regular attendance is required
