Under the supervision of the Paver/ Block Superintendent, this position supports both departments and in all areas of production.  Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Operates Tiger machine and verifies that equipment is running properly and safely.
  • Checks product quality and discards sub-standard product.
  • Completes all paperwork and inspections as required by company standards.
  • Keeps work area clean and free of hazards.
  • Inspects that pallets of concrete products are stacked neatly onto pallets.
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on the dry line equipment.
  • Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • Regular attendance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
  • On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
  • Production line experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate cuber, forklift, and any other equipment required to perform duties.
  • Regular attendance is required.
